I saw Andrea Bocelli live tonight….simply amazing. It’s chilling to hear such a beautiful voice live in front of you. Here’s a great clip of him singing Brindsi from La Traviata…with soprano Daniela Bruera.

This is one of the best mixes I’ve seen in a long time - Ghetto fabulous Beyonce song done in a superbly tacky twangy country version. Incredible! Loved it!

This is a long irritating video of tolo barking, but it is pretty funny. I brought him through a gas station automatic car wash thingy, and he FREAKED OUT. I swear he thought the brushes and sprayers were attacking us… it’s pretty funny to see him following the machine around the car, and you can hear the desperation in his bark at the end of the video.

Just a quick note - if anyone tried to add a comment to anything here, i probably had to delete it. After not looking at my blog for a couple weeks, I had 3,243 SPAM comments. Perhaps one or two REAL comments were mixed in with all the porn, prescription drugs, car deals, and other crap. If I deleted your comments, I’m sorry.

I ran 4 miles today, at 5am no less. Why don’t I do this everyday? I feel like a superhero… watching the sun come up over Manhattan while everyone else is sleeping. Seeing the ripples on the Hudson River, watching seagulls flying overhead. There is the occasional dog walker, construction guy in a pickup truck, another runner. But otherwise the city is sleeping. And here it is 7am, I’m showered, coffee’d, ands almost ready for my hour-long commute to the office. I’m sure I will drive to work energetic, cranking the tunes, and arrive EARLY for work… even earlier than I would have if I slept in.

If only I could find the secret to be this optimistic, enthusiastic, and determined about my morning routine. I think I can, I think I can.

PS - My friend Tanu is inspiring me. She runs almost every day, even limping on a sore foot, and counts snails or snarls at passersby (or drools, depending on how hot they are).

If you’re alive, and pay any attention to what’s HOT in this world, then you know about the collaboration of the 2 hottest females on Earth - Shakira and Beyonce. I’ve seen the video for “Beautiful Liar” - which is a really cool play on the 2 of them…nicely done. what is even cooler is this MACHINIMA done my someone using the SIMS game. It is incredible how perfectly executed the video editing was done, and just imagine how much graphic design was needed to match the characters, movements, backgrounds, etc so perfectly. Simply amazing.

I’ve posted both the real video, and the SIMS video here, for your viewing pleasure. TRY TO CLICK PLAY ON BOTH OF THEM SIMULTANEOUSLY. It’s uncanny how close to the real thing this SIMS video is. Fun to watch them at the same time.
